Ski touring Greece is an opportunity to ski where only a few descents have been made! The tours take place around the area of Zagori, Mt. Timfi, Mt. Smolikas and Mt. Vasilitsa. It is a tour which combines the culture and the nature of the area, but also gives fantastic runs, guaranteed first tracks, and relative easy access! The mountains of Pindos are smooth and the snow guaranteed, a tour for every ski tourer!!

Daily Itinerary (8 days)

Day 1: Arrival
Arrival to our guesthouse in Metsovo, meet the guide and prepare for the next day tour.

Day 2: Lakmos ascent
Early wakeup call, and a short transfer to starting point. We start the climb aiming the highest peak Tsoukarela. Afternoon drive to Zagori and check in at our guesthouse.

Day 3: Goura peak
3rd Day : Early transfer to the village of Tsepelovo, where we start the tour, we climb the high Goura peak, and ski down a magnificent galley, with a lot of options. Drive back to our guesthouse, for dinner.

Day 4: The Astraka mountains
The ascent begins from the village of Papigo. On the way according to the group dynamic we decide what is the best choice for skiing, between Astraka peak or Gamila peak. After skiing, we drive to the foot of Mt. Smolikas for the night.

Day 5: Crossing mt. Smolikas
At this day we will try a long but amazing tour, climbing the highest peak of Smolikas, and decent to one of the biggest and highest villages of Greece, Samarina.

Day 6: Spines & Couloirs of Smolikas
Today we try a more skiing orientated tour! We climb the Tsekoura peak and ski down some lovely terrain with a lot of possibilities and for all tastes!! The afternoon we drive to the nearby village of Smixi where we overnight and have dinner.

Day 7: Cruising at Vasilitsa ski area
a relaxed day as we head to Vasilitsa a small ski resort but a beautiful off piste area. We make some nice turns around the ski area using lifts access and our feet. We overnight in a luxury hotel for our last evening in the Greek mountains!
