Zagori means 'behind the mountains'. And it truly is an area hidden between high peaks and deep gorges. 46 little villages with authentic architecture are now protected and under the UNESCO world heritage. All inside north Pindos national park with the remote wilderness of Vikos, and mount Timfi.
We will drive to Elati where we find a spectacular view of all the area, then visit the bridges around Kipi, drive to Dilofo, one of the most authentic and unique villages, after which we will head to the astonishing viewpoint of Vikos gorge to enjoy another breathtaking view.
Our drive continues to Aristi and Papigo, where nature and people together have created a miracle!
