The ski touring Greece tour gives you the opportunity to ski where only a few descents have ever been recorded!
The tour takes place in Metsovo and around the area of Zagori, Mt. Timfi, Mt. Smolikas and Mt. Vasilitsa.
A fantastic week ski touring in North Pindos, includes skinning up in majestic mountains, watching herds of chamois and skiing down completely untracked slopes, among other things.

Meet the culture of the Vlachs, mountain people that have lived for centuries in these mountains. Meet the history of Zagori and visit historical sites, such as the bridges and the picturesque villages of the area.
Ski Touring Greece is a tour which combines culture and nature. It offers the opportunity for fantastic runs, guaranteed first tracks, and has relatively easy access! The mountains of Pindos are smooth and the snow guaranteed, a tour for every ski tourer!
The trip begins in Metsovo, the biggest mountain town in Greece. There we stay 2 nights and ski the Lakmos mountain.
From there we move to the Zagori area where we get to ski the impressive mt. Timfi.
The second half of our trip we go to the land of the Vlachs! We visit Smolikas mountain, the highest in Pindos, and we end the tour at Vasilitsa ski area, at a very nice spa hotel!!

Arrival - meet the guide
Arrival at our guesthouse in Metsovo, meet the guide, have a nice dinner and prepare for next day’s tour.
Lakmos ascent (and descent!)
Early wake-up call followed by a short transfer to our starting point. We start the climb heading for the highest peak Tsoukarela. Afternoon drive to Zagori and check in at guesthouse.
Goura peak of Mt. Timfi
Early transfer to the village of Tsepelovo where we start the day's tour. We climb the high Goura peak, and ski down a magnificent galley with a lot of options. We drive back to our guesthouse for dinner.
The Astraka area
The ascent begins from the village of Papigo. On the way, depending on the group dynamic, we decide which is the best choice for skiing, either Astraka peak or Gamila peak. After skiing, we drive to the foot of Mt. Smolikas where we stay the night.
Mt. Smolikas tour
This is one of the best places to ski in Greece. Smolikas is a big mountain with a lot of options. Samarina is the village which is located at an altitude of 1450, giving direct access from the hotel door to the mountain.
Vasilitsa cruising the ski area
A relaxed day as we head to Vasilitsa, a small ski resort with a beautiful off piste area. We make some nice turns around the ski area using lifts access and our own feet. For our last evening in the Greek mountains we stay overnight in a luxury hotel!
End of tour
If we have enough time, we visit the beautiful canyon of Portitsa before driving to the airport.
